Feedback · Roadmap · Changelog
The feedback tool
indie SaaS can actually afford.
Collect requests, let users vote, ship a public roadmap — with AI that merges duplicates for you. Canny for the rest of us, from $19/mo.
No credit card · Free forever plan
See the loop
From a messy request to a shipped update.
Roadmaplane keeps the customer signal and your product decisions in the same place.
Add Slack notifications
Let customers describe the moment they get stuck.
What happens next
The loop that grows products
Four steps. On repeat, forever.
A user submits
Someone hits a wall in your product and asks for what they need — right from an embedded widget or your public board.
The crowd votes
Others pile onto the same idea instead of opening ten duplicates. AI catches near-matches the moment they're typed, so signal never splits.
You ship it
Drag the request across your roadmap — Planned, In Progress, Shipped — in full public view. Customers watch you listen.
Everyone hears back
The second it ships, every voter gets an email. Trust compounds, and they come back with the next idea.
What's in the box
Three tools your users already expect — done properly.
A board that sorts itself
Users post requests and upvote. The signal rises; the noise sinks. No spreadsheet, no triage meeting.
A roadmap that earns trust
Planned → In Progress → Shipped, in public. Customers see you listening — the single biggest driver of retention.
AI that does the triage
Duplicates get caught and merged the moment they're typed, so votes consolidate instead of splitting across ten threads.
Built for small product teams
One feedback loop, three ways to use it.
Indie SaaS
Stop losing customer ideas in DMs. Give every request a home and every vote a place to compound.
Startup teams
Align product, support and founders around the same public signal without adding another meeting.
Product-led companies
Turn shipped work into a retention loop: listen publicly, build transparently and tell voters when it is live.
The pricing gap is structural
Roadmaplane vs. Canny
See the full Canny alternative breakdown and every comparison.
Ready for production
Simple on the surface. Careful underneath.
The experience stays lightweight for customers while the foundations handle authentication, permissions and billing safely.
Supabase Auth
Magic-link access keeps public browsing frictionless and protects every interaction.
Row-level security
Workspace membership and admin roles are enforced at the database boundary.
Polar checkout
Paid plans use signed checkout and webhook events instead of client-side payment logic.
Pricing
Flat rates. No per-seat anxiety.
Every free board is a public billboard — its visitors are often builders too. That's the loop.

Questions, answered
Everything you need to know before launch.
Do customers need an account to browse?+
No. Your public board, roadmap and changelog stay open. An account is only needed to vote, comment or submit a request.
Can I start without paying?+
Yes. The Free plan is designed for validating the idea before you commit to a paid workspace.
Where is the data stored?+
Roadmaplane uses Supabase Postgres with row-level security. Workspace data is isolated by membership and admin role.
How do paid plans work?+
Starter, Growth and Scale check out through Polar. Subscription events are mirrored back to your workspace automatically.
Can I use my own domain?+
Custom domains are part of the Growth plan. The workspace setting is ready; DNS verification and routing are the next production step.
Does it replace our support inbox?+
It complements support by turning repeated requests into a visible, votable product signal your whole team can prioritize.
